Many books have attempted to help answer the important question of serving grieving children, but what has been glaringly absent from the dialog is a child’s perspective—until now.

“The combination of Bryce and his PawPaw’s voices makes What This Kid... an excellent book for parents and grandparents of bereaved children to read together.” Donna Schuurman, The Dougy Center for Grieving Children & Families

Bryce relishes his role as “big brother”. At the age of six, that role was redefined with the loss of his little sister. His tender servant heart has led him to serve other grieving children including his little brother TJ.

Since then with insight and wisdom, he has gained from his unique journey, Bryce has shared his experience and knowledge with the caring adult community looking for ways to better connect and care for the grieving children in their lives.
